What Prunegram Does
Prunegram helps you clean up your Telegram account by identifying inactive chats, dead bots, and clutter. It runs as a Telegram Mini App and as a standalone web app at prunegram.com.
Data We Access
When you use Prunegram, we access the following through Telegram's API:
- Chat metadata — chat names, types, mute status, last activity dates, and unread counts. We use this to identify clutter.
- Your Telegram profile — user ID, first name, username, and premium status. Used for authentication and to display your account.
- Mini App auth data — provided by Telegram when you open the app. Used to verify your identity.
Data We Store
- User profile — Telegram user ID, name, username, tier/purchase status.
- Cleanup history — records of chats you chose to leave or delete, so you can review past actions.
- Preferences — your settings and custom tags.
- Purchase records — payment IDs and tier information for paid features.
We do not store message content, contact lists, or media files.
Session Data
If you log in via the standalone web app (phone number authentication), an encrypted session is stored server-side to maintain your connection to Telegram. This session is deleted when you log out.
Third-Party Services
- Telegram API — to access your account data and perform actions you request.
- Sentry — for error tracking. No personal data is intentionally sent; errors may include technical context.
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — if you use the AI analysis feature, chat metadata (not message content) may be sent for analysis.
Payments
Payments are processed entirely through Telegram Stars. We do not collect or store any payment card details. We only receive confirmation from Telegram that a payment was completed.
Data Deletion
You can request deletion of all your data by contacting us through the /support command in the bot. We will remove your profile, history, and any stored sessions.
